For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God (the Bible):

but as of sincerity. – 2Kor 2:17

Jewels-words of wisdom will be continued to be posted here

Surah 60:8 “Allah does not forbid you from those who do not fight you because of religion and do not expel you from your homes – from being righteous toward them and acting justly toward them. Indeed, Allah loves those who act justly.”

I did not know this scripture that somebody kindly looked up for me in order to proof to me that Allah loves even “unbelievers” like me.

But I am not convinced because I am not perfect and cannot always act justly (only God is perfect!). And reading the next verse is for me more of a constant declaration of war:

“Allah only forbids you from those who fight you because of religion and expel you from your homes and aid in your expulsion – [forbids] that you make allies of them. And whoever makes allies of them, then it is those who are the wrongdoers.”

– Is that not exactly the reason why we have so much unrest, trouble and wars in the world because people cannot forgive and forget?

15 “O you who have believed, do not make allies of a people with whom Allah has become angry. They have despaired of [reward in] the Hereafter just as the disbelievers have despaired of [meeting] the inhabitants of the graves.” – How terrible! How negative! How hopeless! And that toward people Allah claims to have created with his own hands!

How much better is Jesus command to even love your enemies? This is a challenge for peace, don’t you agree? I would say the difference makes the statement of Jesus, “my Kingdom is not of this world.” That means that we should strive to live a just life but that it will never cover the whole world. After the fall of Adam and eve they were expelled from the presence of God into a the world that was given over to Satan because of the choice Adam and Eve made-choosing to listen to Satan instead of trusting God.

As I understand, the goal of Islam is, to instill righteousness und justice here on this earth, something that is just plain not possible as man’s heart cannot be perfect and rahther tends to being unjust and doing bad then good and justice. That is why Jesus said, we need to be born again-in His spirit of Love-to be able to see and enter into God’s kingdom of justice and righteousness. Dirty hearts and thoughts cannot enter such a pure kingdom.

Plese forgive me, but we Christians (true Christians, not Sunday churchgoers that leave the building and live like every other unbeliever) we have a different way of thinking. We say you love and respect somebody as much as you try to find a way to show your love and respect. To say:

“Indeed, Allah loves those who act justly” makes us ask, where is the proof of it? To say with the next breath that you cannot make friends with those who ones became your enemy is a call for hate, would you not agree?

The God of the Bible showed His love even to the worst of sinners and unjust person by making a way so each and everyone can come back into the Kingdom of justice and righteousness.

“God is love.” (1 John 4:8) He is not a cruel tyrant, not a monster who is trying to frighten everyone into hell, but a God who is trying to love everyone into heaven! He’s so close, so intimate, so personal, so loving, so kind, so tender, so gentle, so concerned. He is the great Spirit of Love who created you and me and this beautiful world and the entire universe! To show us His love and to help us understand Himself, He sent His own Son to earth in the form of a man—Jesus Christ.

God loves you so much that He gave His most priceless possession, the most cherished thing He had for you, Jesus, “that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16) He shared His love with the whole world.

God is pictured in His Son, Jesus, a man who loved everybody, even the poorest and the worst of all. He came for love and lived in love and died for love that we might live and love forever. His death brings life, forgiveness, and eternal joy to those who love Him in return.

He loves you dearly, more dearly than the spoken word can tell! You can never understand the love of God. It’s too great, it passes all understanding. You just have to receive it and feel it with your heart. (see Ephesians 3:19)

“For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.”—Romans 8:38–397

  • Please do me the favor and don’t analyze, question and brush it of as a lie, just enjoy the thought of God being Love and receive that love into your heart through the one who loves you so much, Jesus!
