For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God (the Bible): but as of sincerity. – 2Kor 2:17

Somebody asked me if I am a Muslim?

The word Muslim means to be yielded wholly submitted to the All-Mighty God, Creator of the Universe and in this sense I am Muslim since many years.

But I do not believe in Mohammed as a messenger to bring a new religion. For me Mohammed was used by God to stop all these bad idol worship of his day. Whatever he got from God was for the people for his time and area not to be made a new religion and book out of it. A prophet of God is somebody that gives the message of God to the people and in this way he was a prophet. Maybe Christians in his land where not very wholehearted and yielded to God followers and Mohammed wanted worshippers that are 100% yielded and devoted and therefor called his movement Islam-100% followers. But the Thora and Injil was still the basic believe: Surah An-Nisa 4:136: O you who have believed, believe in Allah and His Messenger and the Book that He sent down upon His Messenger and the Scripture which He sent down before – BELIEVE in the Scripture which He sent down before! But today Muslims don’t believe but mock and scoff and ridicule the Scripture which He sent down before, even saying the Word of God is corrupted, just because they don’t understand it.

Islam, after Mohammed died, rejected Jesus as Messiah and Savior for mankind by the new Califs, just like many people in the world today reject Jesus and do not want to bow before Jesus; just like Shaytan did not want to bow before Adam. I am convinced that it is not the Bible that got corrupted-because is God not All-Mighty to protect His own Word? But it is the Islam and Quran that got corrupted and changed. But so you keep believing and submitting to Islam they tell you that it is the Quran that is pure when it is not, but the Bible is still as pure and from God as always.

Jesus did not come to earth as God but as a human being. And as a human being he had to call on the father in heaven just like any other human and He could not do a thing without the heavenly father just like none of us can do any good without God.

Proof that the Bible is true? Mark 16:15 –20 Jesus gave this commandment to His followers: he said to them, “Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation. 16 Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. 17 And these signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons; they will speak in new tongues; 18 they will pick up serpents with their hands; and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not hurt them; they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will recover.” 19 So then the Lord Jesus, after he had spoken to them, was taken up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God. 20 And they went out and preached everywhere, while the Lord worked with them and confirmed the message by accompanying signs.

Since nearly 2000 years followers of Jesus obey this command with the “signs” following them. They still get power from God to cast out demons, heal the sick, be protected from snake bites and poison and do all kinds of miracles in Jesus name. Nothing has changed since Mohammed’s coming and going, nothing. That proofs that the Bible is not corrupted and Jesus is still the same as He always was, the Son of God, Creator of the world.

Can you step out from your old way of thinking and believing and receive this truth?

Surah 60:8 “Allah does not forbid you from those who do not fight you because of religion and do not expel you from your homes – from being righteous toward them and acting justly toward them. Indeed, Allah loves those who act justly.”

I did not know this scripture that somebody kindly looked up for me in order to proof to me that Allah loves even “unbelievers” like me.

But I am not convinced because I am not perfect and cannot always act justly (only God is perfect!). And reading the next verse is for me more of a constant declaration of war:

“Allah only forbids you from those who fight you because of religion and expel you from your homes and aid in your expulsion – [forbids] that you make allies of them. And whoever makes allies of them, then it is those who are the wrongdoers.”

– Is that not exactly the reason why we have so much unrest, trouble and wars in the world because people cannot forgive and forget?

15 “O you who have believed, do not make allies of a people with whom Allah has become angry. They have despaired of [reward in] the Hereafter just as the disbelievers have despaired of [meeting] the inhabitants of the graves.” – How terrible! How negative! How hopeless! And that toward people Allah claims to have created with his own hands!

How much better is Jesus command to even love your enemies? This is a challenge for peace, don’t you agree? I would say the difference makes the statement of Jesus, “my Kingdom is not of this world.” That means that we should strive to live a just life but that it will never cover the whole world. After the fall of Adam and Eve they were expelled from the presence of God into a world that was given over to Satan because of the choice Adam and Eve made-choosing to listen to Satan instead of trusting God.

As I understand, the goal of Islam is, to instill righteousness und justice here on this earth, something that is just plain not possible as man’s heart cannot be perfect and rahther tends to being unjust and doing bad then good and justice. That is why Jesus said, we need to be born again-in His spirit of Love-to be able to see and enter into God’s kingdom of justice and righteousness. Dirty hearts and thoughts cannot enter such a pure kingdom.

Please forgive me, but we Christians (true Christians, not Sunday churchgoers that leave the building and live like every other unbeliever) we have a different way of thinking. We say you love and respect somebody as much as you try to find a way to show your love and respect. To say:

“Indeed, Allah loves those who act justly” makes us ask, where is the proof of it? To say with the next breath that you cannot make friends with those who ones became your enemy is a call for hate, would you not agree?

The God of the Bible showed His love even to the worst of sinners and unjust person by making a way so each and everyone can come back into the Kingdom of justice and righteousness.

“God is love.” (1 John 4:8) He is not a cruel tyrant, not a monster who is trying to frighten everyone into hell, but a God who is trying to love everyone into heaven! He’s so close, so intimate, so personal, so loving, so kind, so tender, so gentle, so concerned. He is the great Spirit of Love who created you and me and this beautiful world and the entire universe! To show us His love and to help us understand Himself, He sent His own Son to earth in the form of a man—Jesus Christ.

God loves you so much that He gave His most priceless possession, the most cherished thing He had for you, Jesus, “that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16) He shared His love with the whole world.

God is pictured in His Son, Jesus, a man who loved everybody, even the poorest and the worst of all. He came for love and lived in love and died for love that we might live and love forever. His death brings life, forgiveness, and eternal joy to those who love Him in return.

He loves you dearly, more dearly than the spoken word can tell! You can never understand the love of God. It’s too great, it passes all understanding. You just have to receive it and feel it with your heart. (see Ephesians 3:19)

“For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.”—Romans 8:38–397

  • Please do me the favor and don’t analyze, question and brush it of as a lie, just enjoy the thought of God being Love and receive that love into your heart through the one who loves you so much, Jesus!

A question many Muslims ask: How could Jesus be the way he was and say things as He did if he is God? Did he leave Heaven and not be God anymore?

Correct! Jesus left his title as a deity behind in heaven!

Hebrews 2:5 You should think in the same way Christ Jesus does.

6 In his very nature he was God. But he did not think that being equal with God was something he should hold on to.

7 Instead, he made himself nothing.

He took on the very nature of a servant.

He was made in human form.

8 He appeared as a man.

He came down to the lowest level.

He obeyed God completely, even though it led to his death. In fact, he died on a cross.

9 So God lifted him up to the highest place (God has highly exalted him-KJV). He gave him the name that is above every name.

10 When the name of Jesus is spoken, everyone’s knee will bow to worship him. Every knee in heaven and on earth and under the earth will bow to worship him.

11 Everyone’s mouth will say that Jesus Christ is Lord. And God the Father will receive the glory.

Jesus did not come to earth as God but as a human being. He had to live in a body like us that got hungry and thirsty and tired and week and sick and hurt. He had to experience everything just like we do-sadness, loss, trials and temptations just like any other human.

What for?

Hebrews 4:14 we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, …15 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin.

Jesus-God the Son-became a human being so he could feel with us and understand us and therefore be a better lawyer and attorney defending us before God the Father the judge.

And Jesus became a human so he could be a sample to us to what kind of relationship we can have with God, like as he saw God as a father so we can see God as our father (our creator like a father to his creation, like a child, us) and the way he talked to God, like a child talks to his father in trust and confidence of his father’s love: John 17:1 When Jesus had spoken these words, he lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said (prayed), “Father…

And as Jesus saw himself as a servant serving God so we should want to be servants to God!

John 8,34 Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever commits sin is the servant of sin.

– In other words Jesus is not a servant to sin but a servant to the God of Righteousness, Love, Mercy, Forgiveness… and Jesus serves us now with righteousness love, mercy, forgiveness…, because:

Acts 5:30 The God of our fathers raised Jesus, whom you killed by hanging him on a tree (on wood). 31 God exalted him …

…at his right hand as Leader and Savior, to give repentance and forgiveness of sins. 32 And we are witnesses to these things, and so is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey him.”
